Want to bump because this is a topic that's quietly important but not getting the attention it needs. It's a topic that gets buried by the news of the day clutter, but has the real potential to have drastic effects on us all.

Great read Mag. I'm all for term limits in Congress. As far as no tax from the feds could be troubling. Could lead to a civil war with states leaving the Union. Congress has had ample time to fix the budget and failed. They are about to do it again in October and President Trump already threatened he would shut the government down. The Democrats will not work with the President on anything. That's shameful and un-American. Granted, I didn't agree with any of President Obama's views. I still respected him as being the President.

Sorry about the link. Was trying to save the post because I've been timed out before finishing a post.

To continue, I don't trust the idea of a Con-Con in today's environment. I don't think it would be wise to expose the Constitution to a potential wholesale revision when all that's needed to begin fixing our problems is for government to return to it's constitutional bounds. Easier said than done, I know. But it would be a huge, positive start.
