Narcisse leaving LSU

One of the two LSU quarterbacks who were missing at Tuesday’s practice has decided to leave the program.

Redshirt freshman Lowell Narcisse announced on his twitter account Tuesday night that he was transferring. Narcisse has four years of eligibility remaining.

Redshirt junior Justin McMillan was the other quarterback who was not at practice Tuesday. Reportedly, McMillan is considering transferring to another school. McMillan graduated earlier this month, so he would be eligible immediately at any school. McMillan has two years of eligibility remaining.

If McMillan also departs, the Tigers would be down to two scholarship quarterbacks – junior Joe Burrow, a graduate transfer from Ohio State, and sophomore Myles Brennan.

Narcisse has not played a full season of football since 2014 – his sophomore year at St. James (La.) High School. Knee injuries shortened his final two seasons in high school. Then, Narcisse sat out last season at LSU as a redshirt. It is quite possible that Narcisse will transfer to a junior college.
