BREAKING: Center Meghan Yarnevich to LSU

Kim Mulkey and her LSU basketball staff have added a much needed post player to the 2025-26 roster.

6-foot-2 center Meghan Yarnevich of Ellicot City (MD) Bullis has announced via social media that she’s committed to LSU after initially signing with Georgia.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Meghan to the LSU family!” Coach Kim Mulkey said. “Her strength, physical presence, and relentless toughness will bring a powerful edge to our frontcourt. Meghan’s work ethic perfectly aligns with the culture we continue to build here at LSU, and we can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make on and off the court here in Baton Rouge!”

Yarnevich had also been recruited by Pittsburgh, Cal, Georgetown and Georgia Tech.
