LSU basketball recruiting reset
Four-star point guard Eric Gaines of Lithonia, Ga. is also officially a LSU signee wrapping up the first day of the spring signing period. From LSU's release late today: LSU previously signed three players in the fall five-star guard Cameron Thomas (Chesapeake, Virginia, from Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Virginia); four-star point guard Jalen Cook of Walker High (Walker, Louisiana); and, three-star center Bradley Ezewiro (Torrance, California) also from Oak Hill Academy. LSU earlier on Wednesday also signed four-star forward Mwani Wilkinson of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Tigers also have two transfers for the 2020-21 season Shareef O'Neal, the son of former LSU and NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, signed paperwork on Wednesday as well to play for LSU, transferring after his redshirt freshman season at UCLA. Also, Josh LeBlanc, who came to LSU from Georgetown at the start of January. LeBlanc is from Baton Rouge (Madison Prep Academy) and practiced with the team during the conference portion of the season.Beyond what was signed in the fall and today, I am told from THE LSU basketball source that they want to add two bigs.Yesterday as we reported 6-10 center Frank Anselem of Prolific Prep in Napa, Calif. has reclassified for the class of 2020. He's down to LSU, Alabama and Georgia. I think there might be some exasperation on LSU's end because the hope was to get him wrapped up sooner but he's still going to take some more time. Ultimately I think Will Wade gets him based on conversations I had this morning. The other big guy is another 6-foot-10 center in 5-star Moussa Cisse and he's going to reclassify for 2020 as well. My national source this morning says his money is on LSU with Cisse. He believes LSU beats out Florida State, Memphis, Georgetown, etc. for him. Wade lands these two guys and it's going to be a crazy good 2020 haul. Stay tuned!

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TigerBait.com rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TigerBait.com Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TigerBait.com readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
