EXCLUSIVE: What Led to Five-Star, Jaiden Bryant Flipping From LSU?
ICYMI -- five-star EDGE rusher, Jaiden Bryant flipped his commitment from LSU to Miami, last night. While many speculated this would be the case following the elite defender's trip to Coral Gables, last weekend, rumors have been swirling that a massive NIL offer from the Hurricanes is what led to the flip. However, TigerBait can exclusively confirm that while Mario Cristobal presented Bryant with a 'more than competitive' NIL package -- Bryant's time with Hurricanes defensive line coach and NFL Hall of Famer, Jason Taylor is what made the ultimate difference.TigerBait has also learned that while LSU defensive line coach, Sterling Lucas would have loved to have Bryant (6'2.5, 250lbs) as part of the Tigers' class, he wasn't ready to get into a bidding war for the star pass rusher -- and is willing to move onto other options, some of which fit more of the size and style of past Lucas targets, which is also more of a pressing need for the Tigers. With five-star EDGE defender, KJ Green (6'4, 235lbs) set to visit Baton Rouge, next weekend, as well as another five-star pass rusher, Abraham Sesay (6'4, 225lbs) just one-week removed from visiting the Tigers' campus, that seems to be more of the type of player the current staff is willing to spend significant money on.The Tigers did NOT 'move on' from Bryant, but the staff were not willing to extend themselves passed their set valuation of the five-star defender.TigerBait will have complete coverage of what's expected to be another wild weekend in Baton Rouge.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TigerBait.com rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TigerBait.com Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TigerBait.com readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
