Skylar Mays and Marlon Taylor will return to LSU for 2019-2020

Will Wade and the LSU basketball program received some great but expected news Monday evening as guards Skylar Mays and Marlon Taylor have decided to return to LSU.

Both Mays and Taylor will be seniors for the 2019-20 season.

Mays finished his junior season with a 13.4 ppg average, 2.1 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals.  He was named second team All-SEC.  He also has an over 4-point grade point average with plans to attend medical school.

Taylor averaged 6.7 ppg and 3.6 rebounds.

LSU now waits for Emmitt Williams to announce his decision to return.  Guard Javonte Smart announced his decision to return a few weeks ago.
