BREAKING: Koy Moore commits to LSU
LSU's best-in-nation wide receiver haul for the class of 2020 got one better in four-star prospect Koy Moore of Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie.
“I’m a Tiger” Moore said as he pulled a LSU baseball cap out of a bag.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Moore announced his commitment at his 18th birthday party Saturday evening. He chose the Tigers over Oregon, Florida State, Florida and many others.
With Moore’s commitment, LSU now has 23 commitments for the class of 2020.
He finished his junior season with 33 receptions for 467 yards and two touchdowns.
Moore is the fourth wide receiver in the Tigers class joining Rakim Jarrett, Kayshon Boutte and Jermaine Burton.
LSU wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph is recruiting Moore for the Tigers staff. Moore tells TigerBait.com that “he’s trying to figure it out” on whether he can be a midterm graduate.
