Deion Smith commits to LSU
Class of 2021 wide receiver Deion Smith of Provine High School in Jackson, Mississippi has flipped his commitment from Missisippi State to LSU.
"I want to thank Coach Joe Moorhead and the entire Mississippi State Football Staff for giving me the opportunity to play for a great school and for all my fans that have supported me," Smith wrote in a tweet. "After prayer and talks with my parents and my mentor, it is in my best interest to decommit from Mississippi State University & Commit to Louisiana State University."
The high four-star prospect is one of the nations absolute best wide receivers for next season. He gave Mississippi State is commitment in April. He has also received offers from Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas and others.
With Smith’s commitment, LSU now has three commitments for the class of 2021.
