LSU quarterback Joe Burrow one of four finalists for Heisman

As expected, LSU senior quarterback Joe Burrow is one of four finalists for the Heisman Trophy.

The other three finalists announced Monday evening on  ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown show include:

Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields

Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts

Ohio State defensive end Chase Young

A quarterback has won eight of the last nine Heisman Trophies. 

The 2019 Heisman Trophy ceremony will be held this Saturday Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.  CST in New York City, and is televised on ESPN.
