Bo Pelini to accept LSU defensive coordinator position
Youngstown State head football coach has been expected to be named new LSU defensive coordinator replacing Dave Aranda for over a week. Now it appears to be official.
Bo Pelini is expected to earn in the neighborhood of two million annually. The last time he served as a defensive coordinator it was at LSU in the 2007 National Championship game. He served in the capacity at LSU from 2005-07 under head coach Les Miles.
Pelini departed LSU for Nebraska where he served as head coach from 2007-2014 where he compiled a 66-27 record.
He’s spent the last five years at Youngstown State.
