BREAKING: 2021 Safety Dakota Mitchell commits to LSU

March 19, 2020

Class of 2021 safety Dakota Mitchell‍ of Winter Park, Florida has announced his verbal commitment to LSU.

“Coach Busch is telling me that I am an outstanding athlete and that they want me bad,” Mitchell told “Coach O was beyond excited and hyped when I told him that I wanted to commit.

“He said that I was one of his biggest priorities.”

The 5-foot-11, 181-pound Mitchell committed to LSU over Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, Alabama and many others.

LSU safeties coach Bill Busch is recruiting Mitchell for the Tiger staff.  Last fall for the Arkansas game weekend Mitchell visited LSU unofficially.  He is currently scheduled to visit LSU officially on May 8.

With his pledge, Mitchell gives LSU five commitments for the class of 2021.
