Howard’s father Jamie was a quarterback at LSU from 1992-1995, older sisters Allyson and Meredyth are both currently students at LSU. Meredyth is on the Tigers volleyball team. His late-mom Kathryn was also a LSU graduate.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Howard committed to LSU over dozens of offers that include Alabama, Texas A&M, TCU, Nebraska, Baylor, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, USC, Penn State and many others.
Howard is one of the most gifted quarterbacks the state of Louisiana has seen in several decades with his strong arm, accuracy and 40-time in the 4.6’s.
With Howard’s commitment, LSU now has five commitments for the class of 2022. He’s a consensus national Top-100 prospect and one of the top three quarterbacks in his recruiting year.
