Negotiations to hire New Orleans Saints defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen to be LSU's new defensive coordinator have hit a snag. Ed Orgeron addresses where things stand.
Orgeron appeared on 104.5 ESPN radio Tuesday morning where he was candid with host T-Bob Hebert.
“We are still working on it, He is a primary candidateob, obviously love Ryan,” Orgeron said. “He is a bright, young, energetic coach, and he comes to us highly recommended. But there are still some things to work out to see if he still can come to LSU, and those things are not final yet.”
Orgeron also addressed Jorge Munoz returning as an offensive analyst after spending the last year at Baylor.
