Tygee Hill commits to LSU
LSU has picked up the verbal commitment of one of Louisiana's crown jewel prospects for the class of 2022.
Four-star defensive tackle Tygee Hill of New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr announced his commitment to LSU via social media Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-3, 285-pound Hill committed to LSU over Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Texas Mississippi State, Jackson State, Michigan State and Miami.

Hill is being recruited to the LSU staff by Mickey Joseph, Andre Carter and Ed Orgeron.
With Hill’s pledge, LSU now has 11 commitments for the class of 2022 and is a consensus top-three class nationally. He’s the highest rated defensive tackle in Louisiana and the first defensive lineman to commit.
Hill finished his junior season with 49 tackles (26 for loss) and 14 sacks. He also recovered two fumbles.
