Former Illinois combo guard Adam Miller has announced his decision to sign with LSU after spending last season on the Fighting Illini roster.

The 6-foot-3 guard chose LSU over Kentucky and Michigan.  He’s regareded by ESPN as one of the top five prospects in the transfer portal.

“I’m picking LSU, Louisiana State University,” Miller said in his interview with Jeff Goodman of Fieldof68.com.  “The biggest reason I chose LSU is Will Wade.  I have a great relationship with him.

“He understood my game, He undertood my feel and we watch some NBA games together (virtually).  It was just feel.  I feel like he’s a good coach, he knows my game and I told him that I want a coach that trust me and I can come in and win and get the job done and so I feel that’s LSU.”

Last season he averaged 8.3 points and 2.8 rebounds.  In two NCAA tournament games he averaged 10.0 points on 8/11 shooting with 1.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds.

Miller prepped at Morgan High School in Peoria, Ill.
