The tight end position on the LSU football roster is one that is need of some bodies and talent.  The class of 2022 is set to remedy that situation in a hurry as four-star Mason Taylor‍ of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas has announced his commitment to the Tigers.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Taylor announced his commitment to LSU via his twitter account.

He chose LSU over Alabama, Florida, Texas A&M, Auburn, Pitt, Miami and others.

“Their coaching staff was on me differently than any other school that had offered me,” Taylor told TigerBait.com. “It showed the love they had for me.

“Everything about the school is crazy. The atmosphere of game day and the stadium is wild.”

LSU now has 16 commitments for the class of 2022.  Taylor is one of two tight ends committed in the class as he joins five-star prospect Jake Johnson‍.
