LSU lands commitment of Kayshon Boutte

LSU has landed a big commitment as 2020 athlete Kayshon Boutte‍  announced his commitment via his twitter account Sunday evening.

"Louisiana is my home and it will stay my home for the next chapter," Boutte said in his tweet. "I am officially committed to Louisiana State University."

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Boutte chose LSU over Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas and others.  While many see him as a wide receiver he told TigerBait.com two weeks ago that he interested in the possibility of playing defensive back at the next level.

This past Saturday, Boutte was in attedance for LSU's win over Mississippi state after visiting Alabama last weekend for their game with Missouri.

Boutte is now one of three wide receivers committed to LSU for the class of 2020.  The others are Kris Draine‍ and Darin Turner‍.  The Tigers now have five commitments for next year's class.

The consensus is that Boutte is a high four-star prospect.  TigerBait shot exclusive video of him two weeks ago when Westgate faced Carencro.  You can see all of that high quality footage HERE.
