Class of 2023 wide receiver Kyle Parker‍ of Lucas (TX) Lovejoy has announced his verbal commitment to LSU.

“I chose LSU, because it felt the most at home for me. The most important things to me were the system being a good fit for my style of play,” Parker told TigerBait.com.  “The another important thing was how I felt when I was around the coaching staff and on campus.”

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Parker chose LSU over scholarship offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Texas, Mississippi State, Penn State and many others.

Parker finished the 2022 season with 48 receptions for 775 yards and 11 touchdowns. He added 403 yards of punt return yaradage with two touchdowns and averaged 30.8 yards per kick return.

With his pledge, LSU now has six commitments for the class of 2023.  He’s being recruited to LSU by wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton.

“All the coaches are real genuine people, and are building something special at LSU,” Parker said. “I’m very excited about my decision, I’ve been watching LSU since a baby so to say that I’m going there is crazy!”

Parker has family ties to the state of Louisiana and both of his parents graduated from LSU.
