“I love the coaches energy,” Stamps told TigerBait.com. “LSU has always been a dream school. Every Rummel alumni that went to LSU have been successful in many ways.
“I want to continue that.”
Stamps family are extremely excited that he will be staying close to home for college.
“My family is all in,” Stamps said. “T hey would love for me to stay in the boot to fulfill my and our dream.”
Stamps can play both safety and cornerback at the next level, which is why the LSU coaching staff extended him an offer at camp last month.
With Stamps pledge, LSU now has nine commitments for the class of 2023. He’s the fourth defensive back in the class.
Stamps will not be a midterm graduate as Rummel does not allow early graduation.
