New LSU commit had his heart set on playing for the Tigers

LSU’s newest in-state commitment has always wanted to be a Tiger.

St. James standout Khai Prean‍ pulled the trigger and pledged to Brian Kelly and his staff on Monday — another in-state domino to drop for the Tigers’ rapidly growing 2023 class.

Prean stands 6-foot and weighs 190 pounds. He is listed by most recruiting services as an athlete, but he has made it known he hopes to be a receiver at the next level.
