Linebacker Christian Brathwaite flips to LSU

Class of 2023 linebacker Christian Brathwaite‍ of Cypress (TX) Cy Ranch announced Wednesday morning via Twitter that he has flipped his commitment from Baylor to LSU.

The 6-foot-1, 225 pound linebacker visited LSU last weekend unofficially for the Tigers game with Ole Miss.

“LSU fits me because of the culture, the love I feel is different from any other place,” Brathwaite told TigerBait.com.  “The coaches are really about their players and they really emphasize that with their coaching.

“I see myself becoming a better man and a better leader here.  LSU is getting a hard working kid that’s ready to dawg out on the field early.”

LSU now has 23 commitments for the class of 2023 with Brathwaite’s pledge.  

The four-star prospect finished his junior season with 38 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
