Class of 2023 linebacker Christian Brathwaite of Cypress (TX) Cy Ranch announced Wednesday morning via Twitter that he has flipped his commitment from Baylor to LSU.
The 6-foot-1, 225 pound linebacker visited LSU last weekend unofficially for the Tigers game with Ole Miss.
“LSU fits me because of the culture, the love I feel is different from any other place,” Brathwaite told TigerBait.com. “The coaches are really about their players and they really emphasize that with their coaching.
“I see myself becoming a better man and a better leader here. LSU is getting a hard working kid that’s ready to dawg out on the field early.”
LSU now has 23 commitments for the class of 2023 with Brathwaite’s pledge.
The four-star prospect finished his junior season with 38 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
