5-star QB Colin Hurley commits to LSU
The LSU football program has their big-time quarterback for the class of 2024 as five-star Colin Hurley of Jacksonville (Fla.) has pledged to the Tigers
Hurley was slotted for the class of 2025 but has reclassified for 2024. He committed to LSU over offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and many others.
In a released statement Hurley said,
"To Coach Brian Kelly and the staff at LSU, I want to say, thank you for the opportunity to graduate a champion and bring a national championship to Baton Rouge!”

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Hurley camped at LSU in June and has been back on campus multiple times. He attended the Southern game earlier this season and will be back for the Alabama game this weekend.
Hurley is being recruited to LSU by quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan. With his decision, the Tigers now have six commitments for the clas of 2024.
Hurley was named Class 2A Player of the Year after last season.
