BREAKING: John Ehret OL Khayree Lee of John Ehret commits to LSU

Class of 2024 offensive lineman Khayree Lee‍ of Marrero (La.) John Ehret gave LSU head football coach Brian Kelly his verbal commitment following the Tigers' overtime win over Alabama.

“The environment was crazy,” Lee said “I’ve never been to a game like that.”

While the atmosphere was no doubt compelling, Lee says he already had plans to make this decision before the game.

“I was considering committing before I came,” Lee said. “Coach (Brian) Kelly already knew I wanted to commit. So when I told him I wanted to be a tiger, he said he was all with it ‘let’s make it happen.’”

Lee says he plans to continue listening to other schools and taking visits so he can “enjoy every moment of recruitment.” But, he insists he is very firm on his commitment, and that he grew up an LSU fan.

Lee says it’s too early to determine if he will end up being an early enrollee or not.
