Tight end Jackson McGohan commits to LSU
One of the biggest needs of the LSU football program is more talent at the tight end position. On Tuesday, that position just got stronger with the commitment of Jackson McGohan of Miamisburg, Ohio.
McGohan stands at 6-foot-4, 230-pounds and he chose LSU over Michigan, Cinncinati and many others. He visited LSU officially last weekend after decommitting from the Bearcats.
With his pledge, LSU now has 24 commitments for the class of 2023. LSU offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Matt Denbrock is recruiting McGohan for the Tigers staff.
McGohan is LSU’s second tight end for the class of 2023. He joins Mac Markway of St. Louis (MO) DeSmet.
McGohan finished his senior with with 941 yards on 52 receptions and 12 touchdowns. As a junior, he totaled 699 yards on 47 receptions with 10 touchdowns.
