Former Ohio State Buckeye cornerback JK Johnson has committed to LSU after a fantastic official visit to the Baton Rouge campus this weekend.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Johnson was a part of the Buckeyes class of 2021.  He signed out of St. Louis (MO) De Smet high school which has strong ties to current LSU cornerbacks coach Robert Steeples.

Current LSU third team All-American defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo also prepped at De Smet.

He started five games for the Buckeyes and played in all 13 games. He was a consensus National 100 prospect for the class of 2021.

Johnson visited Notre Dame unofficially back in 2019 when Brian Kelly was head football coach of the Irish.
