Top Louisiana guard for 2024 Jada Richard commits to LSU

Less than 24 hours after Kim Mulkey's LSU basketball program celebrated the 2023 National Championship with a parade, the top Louisiana prospect for the class of 2024 has announced her commitment to the Tigers.

Guard Jada Richard of Lafayette (La.) Lafayette Christian Academy has announced on social media that she’s committed to LSU.

The 5-foot-8 honor student committed to LSU over offers from Ole Miss, Arizona State, Tulane, Houston, UCF, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana at Lafayette and many others.

Richard is only the second basketball player in LCA history to reach the 2000 point mark and she did it only three seasons.  In each of her three seasons,she led the Lady Knights to a state title.
