Hailey Van Lith commits to Kim Mulkey's LSU program
The rich get richer as Kim Mulkey's reigning National Champion LSU basketball program has added guard Hailey Van Lith.
The 5-foot-7 Van Lilth was an honorable mention All-American this past season and has been one of the biggest stars in all of collegiate basketball the last three years.
She visited LSU officially last week.
In three seasons at Louisville, she has started every game and averaged in double figures each year. She is one of two players in the collegiate women’s basketball to average at least 19 points, four rebounds and three assists. The other is Caitlin Clark of Iowa.
Van Lilth has two years of eligibility remaining. She prepped at Cashmere High School in Wenatchee, Washington.
Last season, Van Lith averaged 19.7 points, 3.2 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game. She was named first-team All-ACC and led the Cardinals again to the Elite-Eight (fifth straight).
In 2022, Van Lith led Louisville to the Final Four and was named “Most Outstanding Player” of the Wichita Regional.
