Logan Diggs commits to LSU
LSU head football coach Brian Kelly, running backs coach Frank Wilson and the Tigers coaching staff have landed one of the biggest transfer portal prospects for this year as Logan Diggs has announced his decision.
The transfer from Notre Dame prepped at Rummel in Metairie.
The last two seasons, the 6-foot 215-pound Diggs rushed for 1,052 yards and seven touchdowns for the Irish.
He gives LSU a stellar running back room with returning starter Josh Williams (grad student), Noah Cain (senior), Armoni Goodwin (junior), two true freshmen in Kaleb Jackson and Trey Holly. Plus John Emery is still listed on the roster but his status remains up in the air with academic work needed to be done.
Diggs has two years of eligibilty remaining. He also considered South Carolina and Ole Miss.
