Going into his official visit weekend, Butte College tight end Connor Gilbreath told TigerBait.com that LSU was his leader.
On Saturday night, during his official visit, Gilbreath tweeted that it’s official, he’s a LSU Tiger!
In an interview with TigerBait earlier this week, Gilbreath (6-6, 268) said he’s a run-blocking tight end but LSU plans to convert him to a full-time offensive lineman.
“It's perfect,” Gilbreath said of LSU’s plans. “It allows me to come in and play right away and learn the system. Coach Denbrock has been great. I know who is and the success he has had. That gets me extremely excited. I look forward to meeting him in person.”
Gilbreath will enroll in July at LSU. He will have four years of eligibility including a redshirt season.
