Cornerback PJ Woodland commits to LSU

Class of 2024 cornerback/athlete PJ Woodland‍ of Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove has announced Sunday evening that he's committed to LSU.

The 6-foot, 160-pound three-star prospect was once committed to Mississippi State.  He reopened his recruiting process last week.  He chose LSU over offers from Auburn, Ole Miss,  Tennessee, Texas A&M and many others.

Woodland has been on the LSU campus twice this month including this past Saturday night’s blowout win over Army.

With his commitment, LSU now has 24 commitments for the class of 2024.  He’s the fourth cornerback prospect in the class.

Woodland is being recruited by LSU cornerbacks coach Robert Steeples.
