Four-star Edge Jesse Harrold commits to LSU
LSU has landed a commitment from the highly-coveted four-star edged rusher out of Tampa, Florida, Jesse Harrold.
Harrold is a consensus top-100 player and joins LSU’s 2025 class, which is currently ranked second nationally. He is LSU’s 13th commit and 8th top-100 consensus player in the class.
He is LSU’s first commitment for the defensive line in the class. This group is a position of focus for new defensive line coaches Bo Davis and Kevin Peoples for the Tigers with many veteran edge rushers on the roster leaving next season.
This commitment comes on the heels of his official visit to LSU on June 14th.
His other top choices were Texas A&M, UCF and Illinois.
last season he registered 42 tackles including 18 for a loss, 8.5 sacks, 2 fumbles recovered and a forced fumble in 9 games per MaxPreps.
