Four-star DT Zion Williams commits to LSU
A much needed piece for the LSU football programs 2025 recruiting class dropped early on Independence day as four-star defensive tackle Zion Williams announced his commitment to LSU.
Williams revealed his college choice via a prepared video on X.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound prospect from Lufkin, Texas chose LSU over Texas, TCU and Texas A&M. He also recently visited Arkansas.
Williams pledge now gives LSU’s 2025 recruiting class a total of 13 commitments. He’s the first defensive tackle in the class.
Williams’ relationship with Tigers defensive line coach Bo Davis is considered by the determining factor in LSU landing the coveted Texan.
LSU defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Blake Baker also assisted in the Tigers gaining Williams commitment.
