Tight end Mike Tyler commits to LSU
The LSU football program picked up a tight end commitment Saturday as Mike Tyler of Columbia (S.C.) Hammond School has announced his college decision.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound chose LSU over Duke and West Virginia.
LSU tight ends coach Slade Nagle is recruiting Tyler for the Tigers.
LSU now has 23 commitments for the class of 2025. Tyler is the second tight end commit in the class joining John David LaFleur of Sulphur (La.).
Tyler finished his junior season with 33 receptions for 543 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s now been on three state championship football teams.
The South Carolina native is a consenus three-star prospect across all recruiting outlets.
