Kade Phillips says he's coming to LSU to bring back "DBU" glory

LSU fans have been longing for the days of “DBU”, as the secondary and defense as a whole, has been the program's Achilles heel for more than a few years. One 2025 commit hoping to help turn the tide is 4-star cornerback Kade Phillips‍ from Fort Bend Hightower high school in Missouri City, Texas.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound senior is extremely versatile, with the ability to play safety if needed, but is an elite boundary corner.
