BREAKING: Four-star CB Dezyrian Ellis commits to LSU
One of the state of Louisiana's best athletes for the class of 2026 announced his commitment to LSU Saturday evening.
Four-star cornerback prospect Dezyrian Ellis of Winnsboro (La.) Franklin Parish chose LSU over offers from Houston, Michigan State, West Virginia, Tulane and others.
The 6-foot-2, 180 pound Ellis gives LSU three cornerbacks for the class of 2026. He joins Havon Finney Jr. of Chatsworth, California and Dylan Purter of Tuskegee, Alabama.
With Ellis’ pledge, Brian Kelly’s 2026 recruiting class now has 12 commitments.
While Ellis has been an incredible offensive weapon for Franklin Parish, he’s being recruited to LSU as a defensive back.
Earlier this spring he told TigerBait, “Coach Raymond is my guy. He does a great job of keeping in touch with me and he’s always upfront about everything and doesn’t sugarcoat any expectations”.
“What I’m looking for in a program is success,” said Ellis. “I’m a winner and I love to win.”
