EDGE DeAnthony Lafayette commits to LSU
The LSU football programs torrid pace in filling their 2026 recruiting class continues.
Three-star EDGE rusher DeAnthony Lafayette of Orlando (FL) Lake Nona has announced his commitment to the Tigers.
The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Lafayette chose LSU over Miami and Oklahoma as well as many other top scholarship offers.
Lafayette finished his junior season with 73 tackles, 47 quarterback hurries and 17.5 sacks. He also added three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and an interception.
With Lafayette’s pledge, LSU now has 17 commitments for the class of 2026. He’s being recruited to LSU by Tigers Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers coach Blake Baker.
Earlier on Thursday, 5-star defensive lineman Lamar Brown announced his commitment to the Tigers.
