
Birmingham, Ala. – South Carolina is predicted to win the 2026 Southeastern Conference women's basketball championship in a vote of a select panel of both SEC and national media members.
South Carolina tops the order of finish, with Texas, LSU, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky rounding out the top half the league. Alabama, Mississippi State, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Texas A&M, Auburn and Arkansas round out the bottom half.
Texas’ Madison Booker received 13 points to take the SEC Preseason Player of the Year honor. Also receiving votes were Ta’Niya Latson, South Carolina; Flau’Jae Johnson, LSU, Mikayla Blakes, Vanderbilt; Raegan Beers, Oklahoma and Clara Strack, Kentucky.
