The LSU football program is operating with an interim head football coach but that doesn't stop recruiting.
Class of 2026 wide receiver Kervin Johnson Jr. of Tioga, Louisiana has been committed to Louisiana Tech since early September but he’s flipped to LSU.
“I’m very excited about my decision,” Johnson told TigerBait. “I feel like I made the right choice.
“Also I chose LSU because they treated me like family and I felt at home.”
While on a recruiting visit Saturday, the 6-foot-3, 195-pound prospect received an offer from the LSU coaching staff before the Tigers kicked their game with Texas A&M.
LSU now has 18 commitments for the class of 2026.
