Nichols OL Ja'Mard Jones commits to LSU

LSU has landed a portal commitment from Nichols OL Ja'Mard Jones. 

The 6’4 295-pound freshman played in six games and started five this season.

From his Nichols bio: 

At Rummel: Was an all-state player, earning LFCA 5A All-State Second Team and LSWA 5A All-State honorable mention... two-time all-district and named all-metro... also is a three-time all-district basketball player, scoring more than 1,000 points in his career... was an honors student since 10th grade... was class spokesman and on student council.

Personal: Birthday is Dec. 27... parents are Ja’Mard Jones Sr. and Latasha Wallace... has three siblings -- Ja’Marcus, JaTonya, and Jaydence Jones... majoring in psychology... career goal is to play professional football.
