HANAGRIFF: Moore problems

LSU’s concern over Cooper Moore may have been real, but it’s far from the Tigers’ biggest issue. As Charles Hanagriff points out, inconsistent hitting and shaky fielding — not the Sunday starter — are what could ultimately define LSU’s season if they aren’t fixed fast.

When Cooper Moore left the field on Friday night at Alex Box Stadium, the mood was anxious, and the fear was real. 

Moore’s arm was hanging, and his body language suggested that something might be bad wrong. 

You could almost hear the thoughts of the fans out loud.  If Moore was out, William Schmidt would have to move up, and that would leave the Tigers without a reliable third starter.
