Lane Kiffin and his LSU football staff picked up one of the commitment of one of the biggest Louisiana prizes for the class of 2027 on Monday.
Four-star athlete Braylon Calais of Cecelia announced his commitment to the Tigers over other scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Ohio State, Miami, Ole Miss and Houston.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Calais can play on either side of the ball.
Offensively, Calais rushed for 1,108 yards and 20 touchdowns on 170 carries. As a receiver, he totaled 32 receptions for 498 yards and 6 touchdowns.
In a playoff win over Lakeshore, he played quarterback and passed for 165 yards with 3 touchdowns.
