Will Wade has added some veteran experience to his backcourt after landing a commitment from UTSA transfer guard, Austin Nunez.

 

The 6'2 guard averaged 9.8 points per game while adding 2.8 assists and 2.1 rebounds per contest, this past season for the Roadrunners.

 

Nunez, who will be a super senior during this upcoming season, committed to Arizona State out of high school in 2022 before transferring to Ole Miss in 2023. Nunez would return to the Sun Devils for the 2024 season before spending this past season with UTSA.

The Tigers have seen their entire roster either graduate or enter the Transfer Portal following Matt McMahon's dismissal, as well as their lone two high school signees being let out of their deals, officially leaving zero players on Wade's new roster before the recent influx of international and Transfer Portal commitments.
