Yet another international star is headed to Baton Rouge — this time, in the form of Croatian big man, Michael Ruzic.
The 6’11 forward averaged 6.5PPG and 3.8RPG, this past season for Joventut Badalona in Spain after opting against declaring for the 2025 NBA Draft.
Ruzic joins a long list of international professional players as well as top Transfer Portal talent to commit to Will Wade and the new-look Tigers roster, which includes fellow international signees, Saliou Niang and Marcio Santos in addition to traditional portal commits, Kansas State’s, Abdi Bashir Jr., Michigan State’s, Divine Ugochukwu, and Kentucky’s, Mouhamed Dioubate - 2026 high school signee, five-star freshman and dual-sport athlete, Ahmad Hudson is also expected to join the Tigers basketball team in January.
