Will Wade continues to add international flavor to LSU's new-look roster by adding French center, Brice Dessert.

The 23-year-old big man averaged 8.7 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, and 1.3 blocks per contest, this past season while playing for Anadolu Efes in Turkey, this past season.

TigerBait exclusively reported LSU’s interest in Dessert, over a week ago, and now Wade has reeled in his biggest fish as he continues to build an immediate contender in Baton Rouge.

Dessert joins a Tigers roster that has been completely overhauled after the dismissal of Matt McMahon, which caused the entire roster to graduate or enter the Transfer Portal — as well as their lone two high school signees being let out of their deals, officially leaving zero players on Wade's new roster before the recent influx of international and Transfer Portal commitments.

Earlier this week, it was announced that former St. John’s star, RJ Luis has committed to Wade and co., but will need some help in retaining his final-year of collegiate eligibility after being in the NBA and NBA’s G-League, this past season, despite not playing in a single game in either league.

LSU’s current roster includes Dessert and Luis as well as Kansas State transfer, Abdi Bashir Jr., Michigan State transfer, Divine Ugochukwu, and Kentucky transfer, Mouhamed Dioubate in addition to international signee, Marcio Santos — 2026 high school signee, five-star freshman and dual-sport athlete, Ahmad Hudson is also expected to join the Tigers basketball team in January.

It’s also expected that Italian/Senegalese forward, Saliou Niang will be headed to Baton Rouge once his paperwork has been finalized.
