Three-star cornerback Markez Davis‍ has emerged as a top LSU target after announcing on Twitter/X that he received a scholarship offer from the Tigers following his official visit over the weekend, immediately positioning LSU as the team to beat in his recruitment.

Davis, a 6-foot-3, 178-pound defensive back from Northwest High School in Opelousas, Louisiana, was largely off the radar before the spring and is currently unranked, but that lack of early attention has not slowed his rise.
