Three-star offensive lineman Andrew Shofstahl‍ landed a long-awaited LSU offer a few days after attending the Tigers’ Elite Camp on Friday, giving the St. Paul’s School (Covington, Louisiana) standout a “surreal” Southeastern Conference option close to home.

Shofstahl, a 6-foot-4, 325-pound junior, has started at St. Paul’s since his freshman season. He earned Class 5A all-state honors last fall and his second straight all-district selection.
