LSU Making Early Move for Louisiana’s No. 1 Prospect Dalen Powell

Four-star running back Dalen Powell‍ of Ruston High School (La.) has quickly become one of the country's most coveted prospects, and LSU is already firmly in the mix to land the in-state prospect.

According to 247Sports, Powell is the No. 1 player in Louisiana and the No. 2 running back nationally in the class of 2028. The Ruston High School standout is also slated to play in the 2027 U.S. Navy All-American Bowl, underscoring his status as one of the premier underclassmen in the nation.
