A large reason LSU was so dominant in both the Nick Saban and Les Miles eras was one position: the defensive line.

The defensive line was a large reason the Tigers won three SEC titles and appeared in three national championship games, winning two, from 2000 to 2011. However, in recent years, the defensive line has not been feared nearly as much.
