After weeks of uncertainty surrounding whether LSU will have a complete roster for the 2026-27 season, Will Wade and the Tigers received a significant development in one of their biggest remaining eligibility battles.

LSU guard RJ Luis has filed a lawsuit against the NCAA and is scheduled for a preliminary injunction hearing Monday, Aug. 24, according to Geaux247's Zack Nagy and Blake Ruffino.

Luis' case will be heard in East Baton Rouge Parish before Judge Ronald R.
